A point of history...

The origin of the Swiss flag remains mysterious and there are several versions. In the textbooks, it is said that the flag comes from the canton of Schwytz, founder of early Switzerland. Its peculiarity is that it is the only flag (with the Vatican one) to be square and not rectangular.
